One of the best things about staying at Mier Serviced Apartment was being so close to For Kee Restaurant, it was marked as a must on my map around the world. It's your standard hole in the wall Hong Kong cafe/restaurant that served eastern/western dishes. We loved it so much that we ate there 3 times in one week. I highly recommend the vegetable noodle soup with mushrooms and the French toast. French toast in Hong Kong is actually a deep fried brioche (or a peanut butter or marmalade sandwich) served with Lyle's Golden Syrup. Always get Hong Kong milk tea or lemon iced tea at these cafes. Stacking a table with strangers is actually a norm elsewhere in the world as space is extremely scarce, so please remember to keep your personal space needs to yourself.
