Living Digital Space and Future Parks. teamLab. Pace Gallery. Menlo Park. California. 12.18.2016.

I dragged my feet in getting down to Menlo Park for this show until closing day today. This show did not disappoint. teamLab is a Japanese art technology collective that does these incredible art installations that are truly immersive and interactive. They are all so artfully done and I find that they do an amazing job of balancing art and tech, which is not something I see very often. All the pieces are engaging and beautiful and evoke a sense of zen. Like all truly immersive and interactive experiences, pictures do them no justice.

Anderson Collection & Cantor Center for Visual Arts. Stanford University. Palo Alto. California. 12.18.2016.

Today I took Caltrain down to Menlo Park to see my friend Lauren and to see the closing of teamLab at Pace Gallery. Since Stanford is right next door, we decided to go see the Nick Cave before the teamLab show.

Then we wandered upstairs to see the rest of the collection.

Since the Cantor Center is right next door and we had some time to kill before we had to go to the teamLab show, we ran through that as well.

Nocturnal Animals.

It's been well over a month and this hauntingly beautiful film is still haunting me. I find myself unraveling layers upon layers constantly when I think about this stunning film. Nicely done Mr. Ford.

Heath Ceramics Building. San Francisco. California. 12.10.2016.

This morning I dropped off a big bag of winter items for donation at Tartine Manufactory for Standing Rock. Then I went around the corner and met up with my friends for the San Francisco Remodelista Market at the Heath Ceramics Building. I didn't buy anything as I have been donating a lot lately to a lot of things, but I do love seeing everything and catching up with my friends.

This is from Yonder below. I am a bit obsessed with her work and I especially like her ceramic tea holders.

Then we popped upstairs to visit out friend Matt Dick over at Small Trade Company as he had vendors in his space as well.

Naturally I had to go down the hall to sneak a peak at what else is there.

Here is a sneak into Olli's studio.

Ghost Ship fire. Oakland. California. 12.2.2016.

2016 has been very extreme for me personally on the grieving front. There are no words to describe my sadness over this, but I hope that you would consider donating to funds that will help the victims of the fire so they and their families can have some support during thus extremely difficult time.
