Paris Day 8. Bistro Urbain. Paris. France. 9.20.2013.

Yes, I crave salads for a while thanks to all these meals in Paris. This is Lisa's boyfriend's place so of course we had to check it out. The food was very good and pricing is also very good, especially for Paris. We were actually so full from all week that we didn't have dessert. Which is blasphemous! Sorry for the low light images.

Paris Day 8. L'Éclair De Génie. Paris. France. 9.20.2013.

Mathieu told us that this is his new favorite eclair place. Naturally we had to check it out. The cheapest one is 4.5€ and the most expensive is 7€. We had been going to Patisserie Stohrer all week as it's very good and near Mathieu's apartment, so we would stop by and grab a croissant before we go around walking all day. The chocolate eclairs at Patisserie Stohrer are definitely more classic (also very good), whereas these are definitely fancier and fluffier.

Paris Day 8. Accept the mystery. Paris. France. 9.20.2013.

Paris Day 8. Chez Omar. Paris. France. 9.20.2013.

Since we've been having all French food on this trip, we decided to go for Moroccan in Le Marais instead. However, Jasmine ended up getting the pavé au poivre since it looked so good at the other tables and seemed to be quite popular. That was the star dish, but my lamb was also very excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Paris Day 7. Hall of Mirrors. Versailles. France. 9.19.2013.

Jasmine and I stayed at Versailles until it closed. It was magical. Then we sat in the garden in front of a giant fountain before we headed back into town. I really wanted to see the sun set in the Hall of Mirrors, but sunset was at 8PM, and Versailles closes at 6PM. C'est la vie.

Paris Day 7. Versailles. France. 9.19.2013.

Versailles would be my second and last mandatory for this trip. It is very grand indeed. That is why I am breaking this one up into several posts for the different palaces. I even shot an entire roll of film here! I cannot wait to show you all the film I shot once that has been developed.

Paris Day 6. Louvre. Paris. France. 9.18.2013.
