Handsome Shimokitazawa. Tokyo. Japan. 11.14.2018.

Uli wanted me to flex my knack for sniffing out local but amazing things for dinner in our neighborhood, and I did not disappoint. We walked around Shimokitazawa, and I decided Handsome was where we should have dinner. Handsome is an izakaya that serves soba and yakitori. We ordered a bit of everything and loved all of it. Again, simple is best. Just one chef holding it all down in a beautifully designed eatery. The best part was the bill. This is how a great meal should always be: accessible.

Yesterday we had dinner at @handsome.simokitazawa near our neighborhood of Daizawa. We wanted to go to a local spot with no foreigners that did not have an English menu, and I definitely have a knack for finding great hole in the walls while I travel. Handsome was an excellent meal and all the details at the restaurant were just as great. They have soba, yakitori, and many small dishes that we enjoyed.
