Billy Idol & Steve Aoki. Google I/O. Moscone Center. San Francisco. California. 5.15.2013.

I had no idea Billy Idol and Steve Aoki were playing at the Google I/O after party. I was just going to the conference to check it out and have a beer with the boys. I just went with it. When Billy Idol played, Louisa and I went all the way to the front to take better pictures and we both like Billy Idol. He then sang Eye Without A Face, which is one of my favorites, so of course I know all the lyrics. When he sang the break, I sang along to all the lyrics, and he saw me. Then we made eye contact. The next thing I know, Billy Idol was walking closer toward me. I was a bit confused to be honest. The next thing I knew, he is right in front of me, and grabbed me, and sang to me. It was completely surreal, and I laughed so hard my face hurt. At the end of Billy Idol, Louisa and I went back to find the rest of our group, they were freaking out, as apparently I was on the big screen and they saw the whole thing. Amazing! Then we got more beers. Then Steve Aoki came on. Then the boys decided that I needed to be on stage (no idea why) so they kept lifting me until I finally agreed to be boosted, then I ended up crowd surfing. The only person at I/O none less. So random. If you see any pictures of me crowd surfing at I/O, will you please send me the pictures? The photographer on stage took some, amongst many people. I would also love to see footage of Billy Idol singing to me as well if you see that floating around.
